Duration of employment: Permanent full-time position
Employer: International Food Manufacturer
Location: Richmond, BC *Please note there is no public transit available. Need your own vehicle to commute.
Starting Date: ASAP
Regular Work hours: Monday - Friday, 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm (30 min. break / 8-hr. shift)
Compensation: $50,000~/year .
Benefits: Group Insurance (extended health, dental, vision care, prescription drugs, etc.) after 3-month Probationary Period.
The company will provide uniforms and shoes
Main Job duties:
Supervise and manage about five staff members for the following duties:
- Safety, quality, sanitation, and production standards are followed and maintained
- Assembling, disassembling, and cleaning equipment/work areas
- Cutting, inspecting, seasoning, and mixing ingredients
- Packaging the final products into the container and scanning through the metal detector
- Vacuum sealing, labeling, and taping finished products
- Following schedule to prepare ingredients for the day and the next day
- Placing boxes on pallets. Wrapping pallets with labels on them
- Providing reports and updates to managers
- Other production related duties assigned by managers
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Good communication skills in English and Japanese
- Willing to learn and motivated
- Able to follow directions in fast-paced environment
- Able to lift up to 25 kg
- Forklift experience an asset
- Basic MS- Word, Excel and PowerPoint
