Job Title: Export/Import Coordinator (English/Japanese)

Location: South Vancouver, BC
Starting Date: ASAP
Work hours: 9am - 5pm Mon-Fri (1-hour lunch break) or Part-time (For example 10am-3pm)
Compensations: $25-30/hr. (DOE)
Benefits (after 3 months’ probation period)

Main Job duties:
- Coordinate exporting activities from Canada to Asian countries
- Booking containers and contacting trucking companies, towing companies, and loading yards
- Check/issue packing list, invoices, loading instructions, shipping instructions, and LC, etc.
- Communicate to the offices and clients in Taiwan and in Japan
- Assist with importing activities from the US
- Assist with bookkeeping
- Coordinate banks to make sure documents are clean and can receive money without delay
- General administrative and office duties as required
- Other duties as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written (business level)
- Japanese or Chinese language an asset
- 1-2 years of Logistics/freight forwarding experience
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel a must)
- QuickBooks and bookkeeping knowledge an asset
- Detail oriented with a positive attitude
