Head Chef, Sous Chef

One of Whistler's busiest and most exciting Japanese restaurant is looking for a new leader in the kitchen!
We are looking for an experienced head chef with a love for Japanese cuisine and who enjoys a busy, fast paced environment. This is a long standing business within the community looking to continue to strive forward and create unforgettable dining experiences.
Duties include:
Hiring, training and scheduling staff.
Ordering ingredients and supplies in accordance to varying business levels
Creating and executing an exciting menu
Insure all practices are in accordance to BC food safety standards and sanitation regulations.
Controlling and maintaining food cost to meet targets
Oversee and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
Required experience:
Minimum 2 years management experience in a commercial kitchen
Japanese and English language to a conversational level
Minimum Food safe level 1 qualification
Extensive experience in Japanese cuisine
