An established property management company is looking for an administrative assistant.
Japanese language skills an asset.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant (English/Japanese)

Duration of employment: Permanent Full-time or Part-time
Employer: Property Management Company
Location: Vancouver, BC
Starting Date: ASAP
Work hours: 9 am - 6 pm with 1-hour lunch break, or 4-6 hours a day
Compensations: Full-time $18/hr. or Part-time $16/hr.
To qualify a full-time employee, you must be willing to complete the Real Estate Council of British Columbia (RECBC) Rental Property Management Licensing Course within a year.
Main Job duties:
- General administrative duties involving property management
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries both in English and Japanese
- Place and maintain company, rental and sales advertisements online and in print, with agent direction and approval
- Assist property managers with various tasks
- Process rent and other such payments and prepare them for deposit
- Review and distribute monthly management statements for clients
- Issue invoices and/or collect overdue payments.
- Other duties as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat
- High school graduation
- Business level English, with Japanese reading skills being an asset
- Strong communication skills, and ability to work individually as well with others
- Good organization skills and ability to multi-task
